A Day In The Life: Two Under Two

two under two vlog day in the life

I filmed this video months ago – Ted was only nine weeks old! – but forgot to edit the footage. So here it is, better late than never, a whole day in my life with “two under two”. Just in case you were curious to see what I get up to when I’m left toute seule with the babies. (Spoiler: feeding them and getting them up/down the stairs takes me pretty much the entire day.)

I’ve actually done an updated Day In My Life, so I’ll edit that as soon as I can – as you’ll know if you read the last Toddler/Baby Update, there are only two weeks to go until Angelica turns two, and then I will no longer have two under two. It’ll be two under three, I suppose, but it doesn’t have quite the same ring to it.

OK, here goes – cameo appearances from cat and dog to look forward too, as well as my exploding left tit.

Even if two under three does not have the same ring to it, I bet it will be just as hilarious.

Thanks for taking us with you! And kudos for the 2 under 2. You make beautiful babies and you seem to be doing just fine! Had to laugh that you went for a walk for the camera basically. The Mum guilt is everywhere, isn’t it?

Loved this Ruth, I love how real you keep it and I can totally relate to how you spend your days at the moment with a two and a half year old and a 7 week old baby myself. I still don’t feel like I’ve recovered from my csection yet after all this time as it’s just been 100mph since the moment the youngest was born. It’s so hard to divide your time equally between both kids and the mum guilt can be overwhelming. My telly seems to go on at 7am and not get switched off until 7pm. Praise the Lord for Hey Duggee am I right? 😉 you are an amazing mum xoxo

    Hi, Ruth,

I love reading your posts, it happens that I discovered your youtube channel in my first pregnancy back when you were pregnant with Angelica, and now I also happen to be mother of 2 with 19 months age difference between the 2 babies! (just give birth to my second girl last week) I can really refer to lots of the stuff you write about in this blog, it’s really encouraging!

About the babies with Ipad, I also live in the countryside (France), I once showed my surprise on my baby nephew of 4 months who live in a big city in China watching screen, my cousin just said it’s the norm with kids these days, in big cities I suppose. I think it’s a pity, kids are just much better in nature, there’s so much to discover.

A suggestion for re-energizing body after birth(s), I’ve tried it myself, Moxa! French homeopathie and massages. When it’s with a good practitioner it could really help.

    Best wishes~
